AES-IntelliNet is the industry leader in delivering high quality wireless alarm communications to the fire and security industry for commercial, corporate, government, and educational applications with its broad line of products and advances network management tools. Users of AES-IntelliNet networks have gained significant revenue, communications, and cost advantages while meeting the high standards of reliability required for the fire and security industry. AES alarm monitoring systems are deployed in hundreds of thousands of locations in over 50 countries.
We have installed municipal and proprietary radio networks in and around the Greater Chicagoland Area. The AES networks solution is to provide a “wireless mesh” network to maximize reliability and to comply with all U.L. and NFPA requirements.
Some of the municipalities that we have installed this network are the Village of Schiller Park, Village of Franklin Park, Village of River Grove, Bensenville and the Village of Ottawa.
How Mesh Radio Technology Works
Mesh radio technology is conceptually simple. Signals that need to get from a monitored alarm panel to our UL Approved Central Station may either go directly from the AES subscriber at the alarm panel to the AES receiver in the Central Station or it will “hop” through other AES subscribers along the way via one of many possible routes until it gets a confirmed delivery at the Central Station.
In Conclusion:
AES alarm communications solutions address these problems:
- Phone line cuts
- Cellular jamming
- Cellular technology sunset change-outs
- No phone line availability for homes without landline phone service
- Internet telephony interoperability
… and the financial and life safety reliability risks associated with these problems.
